Ingredients to make Cheese biscuits

  • Plain flour - 1 cup
  • Cheese grated - 1/2 cup
  • butter - 1/4 cup
  • salt a pinch
  • Black pepper powder - a pinch or more
  • chilli powder - a pinch or more
  • egg yolk - 1
  • water if required

How to make Cheese biscuits

  1. Make a powdery crumble of the flour, butter and grated cheese.
  2. Add the pepper powder, red chilli powder and salt
  3. Continue mixing
  4. Now add the yolk and knead, add a little water to bring the dough together.
  5. Dust a surface with flour and place the dough on it
  6. Now roll into a chapati
  7. Now cut as desired and place the biscuits on a parchment paper on the baking tray(6 mm to 8 mm thickness )
  8. Prick with a fork all over so that steam is released easily
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for around 10 to 15 minutes or till you see a nice golden brown colour on top
  10. Cool on a wire rack

My Tip:

Used a stand mixer for the preparation, made things easy with a fantastic output.
