Eggless Marble cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Marble cake

  • Flour - 1 1/2 cup(1/2 each of APF and wheat flour respectively)
  • (can use complete APF too)
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • curd - 1 /2 cup
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Coco powder - 3 tbsp
  • Vanila Essence - 1 tsp
  • Baking powder - 1 1/4 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp

How to make Eggless Marble cake

  1. Sieve the flour and keep aside
  2. Preheat oven to 200 degree Celsius.
  3. Take a deep bowl and mix the sugar and curd till sugar dissolves
  4. Now add the baking soda and baking powder
  5. Leave for few minutes till the mixture turns frothy
  6. Now add the oil,vanilla essence, and mix gently
  7. Add the flour in batches and fold using cut and fold method.
  8. Now divide the batter in two bowls
  9. Take a small cup, add in the milk and the Coco powder. Mix thoroughly
  10. Add this Coco mixture to one half of the batter and gently mix
  11. Now Take a greased tin and spoon in the white batter and Coco batter alternatively one over the other.
  12. Tap a little, take a toothpick and make some swirls on top
  13. Now bake it at a reduced temperature of 170 degrees for around 40 mins.
  14. Check it it is done with a tooth pick
  15. Cool completely before slicing
