Maggi Stromboli

Ingredients to make Maggi Stromboli

  • For dough:
  • wheat flour 2 cups
  • Refined flour 2 cups
  • yeast 1 tsp
  • water 2-3 cups ( as required)
  • Powdered sugar 1 tbsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • garlic powder 1 tsp
  • chilli flakes 2 tbsp ( optional)
  • oil 2-3 tbsp
  • For stuffing:
  • Maggi 1 pack
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • Onion, capsicum,french beans, carrots,peas chopped 3 tbsp each
  • chilli sauce / schezwan sauce 2 tbsp
  • tomato sauce 3 tbsp
  • Mustered sauce 1 tsp
  • Barbique sauce 1 tbsp( optional)
  • salt to taste
  • water 1 1/2 cups
  • Cheese slices 3-4

How to make Maggi Stromboli

  1. Take 1/2 cup warm water add sugar and yeast keep aside for five minutes
  2. In a bowl add wheat flour, refined flour, oil 1 tbsp, salt, garlic powder and mix well until blended
  3. Add yeast and water, knead to make a dough
  4. In a separate bowl spread one tbsp oil and keep the dough in it, then pour another spoon oil on top of the dough and spread
  5. Cover with wet cloth and keep aside for one hour
  6. Meanwhile cook all vegetables in oil adjusting salt and then add water, Maggi masala, Maggi and sauces cook till done. let it cool
  7. When dough doubles in size knead it gently for one to two minutes
  8. Then roll it and make one inch thick chapati
  9. Then spread Maggi all over leaving little space at sides
  10. According to taste add cheese slices over it
  11. Roll it nicely with​ no air in it
  12. Add it to greased baking dish brush it with oil/ milk/ egg.
  13. Keep aside for 30-45 minutes
  14. Bake in preheated oven at 180° for 40-45 minutes

My Tip:

I made veg Stromboli, can add boiled eggs / chicken slices/ salamis or anything of your choice
