Maggi Tadka Dal

Ingredients to make Maggi Tadka Dal

  • moong dal dhuli 1 bowl
  • water 4 bowls
  • ghee 1tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Maggi noodles 1/2 pack
  • Maggie magic masala 1/2 packet
  • cumin seeds 1/2tsp
  • Rai 1/2tsp
  • tomato 1 small
  • hing pinch

How to make Maggi Tadka Dal

  1. Wash the dal.
  2. Add salt, Maggi magic masala, turmeric powder and chopped tomatoes.
  3. Cook for 2 whistles in a pressure cooker
  4. Meanwhile, take fry pan and heat ghee then add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. When it splutters add hing and Maggi pieces. Then add red chilli powder and saute for few minutes.
  5. Add the above tadka into the dal and its ready to serve.
