Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Vermicelli 1/2 cup
  2. Kishmish 2 tsp
  3. curd 2 cups
  4. oil 1 tsp
  5. Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  6. hing - a pinch
  7. Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  8. Curry leaves 4-5
  9. Fried peanuts 2 tsp
  10. salt to taste
  11. sugar 1 tsp


  1. Boil vermicelli in plenty of boiling water until cooked.
  2. Drain and wash immediately in cold water to stop further cooking. Drain again to remove any presence of water.
  3. Beat curd with salt and sugar. Add vermicelli and peanuts and mix well.
  4. Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds and hing. When spluttered add curry leaves and red chilli powder. Stir and pour over the the curd.
  5. Ready and serve.
