ABOUT Homemade Kharwas (Without Colostrum) RECIPE

Kharwas is usually made from colostrum but I tried this recipe without colostrum because it is not available every time. It tastes as good as Kharwas.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 Cup raw milk
  2. 1 Cup thick Yogurt
  3. 1 cup condensed milk
  4. Few saffron strands
  5. Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take a pan and pour milk in it
  2. Then add yogurt in it
  3. Add condensed milk in it
  4. Blend it all together.
  5. Then pour this mixture in a container of pressure cooker
  6. Then add saffron strands and cardamom powder in it
  7. Cover it with lid and put the container in pressure cooker
  8. After one whistle, simmer the gas for 10 minutes
  9. Once it cools down make pieces.
  10. Keep it in the fridge and then enjoy the Kharwas.
