Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup - oats
  2. 1 - green chili finely chopped
  3. 1/2 cup - onion finely chopped
  4. 1/2 cup - tomatoes finely chopped
  5. 1/4 cup - peanutsroasted
  6. 1/4 cup - cilantro finely chopped
  7. 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  8. 1/2 tsp - lemon juice
  9. 1/4 tsp - turmeric
  10. A pinch of asofetida
  11. salt & oil as required

Instructions

  1. Take a pan or wok, roast the oats for 2 mins on a medium gas. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in the same pan, add mustard seeds and asafoetida, when it cracks, add green chilli, onions, turmeric and salt. Stir for 3-4 mins.
  3. Add tomatoes cook for 3-4 mins or until tomatoes become tender on medium gas.
  4. Add Oats and mix well. Cook it for 3-4 mins on medium low gas. Turn off the gas.
  5. Add lemon juice. Mix well. Garnish with cilantro and peanuts.
