ABOUT Curd rice RECIPE

The typical South Indian comfort food with sweet little twist.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Steamed rice- 1 cup
  2. Curd- 5-6 tbsp
  3. Curry leaves- 12
  4. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  5. urad dal - 1 tsp
  6. Chana dal - 1 tsp
  7. Dry red chillies- 2
  8. Pomegranate seeds - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Make soft rice and allow to cool. Blend the curd with salt & sugar as per your taste.
  2. Add rice in curd stir it mixes well.
  3. Add pomegranate seed & mix. Make tadka of mustard seeds, whole red chilli, urad dal, chana dal & curry leaves and add in curd rice. Freeze it & serve.
