Curd rice

Ingredients to make Curd rice

  • 2 and 1/2 cup steam rice
  • 1 and1/2 cup curd
  • 1 carror grated
  • 1 grated cucumber
  • 2 whole red chillis
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tbsp chana dal soaked
  • 1/2 tbsp urad dal soaked
  • 2 tbsp hing
  • curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 cup boiled corn
  • 1/4 tbsp ginger chopped

How to make Curd rice

  1. Pour oil in a pan and heat it
  2. Add Mustard seeds
  3. When it crackles add red whole chilli and ginger
  4. Add both soaked dals
  5. Mix well
  6. Add curry leaves
  7. Add hing
  8. Cook for 3-4 mins
  9. Turn off the gas
  10. Keep aside
  11. Take a mixing bowl
  12. Put curd
  13. Beat it
  14. Add salt
  15. Add rice
  16. Mix well
  17. Add grated carrot
  18. Add corn
  19. Mix well
  20. Add coriander leaves
  21. Add grated cucumber and add the tadka
  22. Mix well
  23. Serve on room temperature or chilled
