ABOUT Hariyali Paneer Dip RECIPE

Beautiful light green colored dip prepared from curd, flavored with basic spices. Addition of crumbled paneer gives a crunch to this smooth dip. This tasty and yummy dip is a great option to serve in your dinner or party menu. This is a very easy-to-make dip and a bit different from the usual dips.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For the green paste:
  2. ¼ cup chopped coriander leaves
  3. 8-10 mint leaves/ pudina leaves
  4. 1 green chilli
  5. Other ingredients :
  6. 3/4 cup curd/ dahi
  7. 1/3 cup crumbled paneer/ cottage cheese
  8. ½ teaspoon jeera/ cumin powder
  9. ¼ teaspoon chaat masala
  10. ¼ teaspoon red chilli powder
  11. Salt to taste
  12. For the garnish:
  13. crumbled paneer few tsps
  14. Pinch of red chilli powder
  15. For serving (options):
  16. Nacho chips - 1 packet
  17. Crackers - 1 packet
  18. Potato chips - 1 packet
  19. Mixed veggies (carrots, beans, cucumber), cut into long strips

Instructions

  1. In a mixer/ blender jar, combine chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves and green chilli. Add 1 tablespoon curd/ dahi and blend to a smooth paste. Keep aside.
  2. In a bowl, take curd and add the prepared green paste. Whisk well.
  3. Now add jeera powder, chaat masala and salt. Mix well.
  4. In the end add crumbled paneer and mix.
  5. Garnish with crumbled paneer and sprinkle red chilli powder.
  6. Serve this hariyali paneer dip chilled with potato chips, nacho chips, crackers or your favorite veggies cut into long strips.
