Delicious banana stem raita. Very easy to make and good for health/ nutritious that everyone knows.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Banana stem chopped - 1 cup
  2. Yogurt / curd - 1/2 cup
  3. Coconut - 2 tbsp
  4. Jeera seeds - 1/4 tsp
  5. Green chillies - 2
  6. Coriander leaves - few leaves
  7. Ginger - a small piece
  8. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the banana stem in a pan add enough water. Cook until tender drain water and keep aside
  2. In a blender add cooked banana stem, add coconut, jeera, coriander, chillies, ginger
  3. Grind into a smooth paste
  4. Transfer into a bowl. Add curd and mix well
  5. Serve with hot plain rice
