ABOUT Beetroot Masala Chaas or Lassi RECIPE

Buttermilk contains probiotics microbes which improve immunity and guts. This is also very cooling and soothing during summer. And in addition to the benefits of buttermilk when beetroot is added it increases its nutritional value. Beetroot will help protect against certain cancers such as colon cancer, birth defects and heart disease heart disease. They are rich in antioxidants. Have anti-inflammatory benefits. People with toxins in their body should eat beats as they will work as a detoxification. Fiber found is beets is excellent for the digestive tract.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 500ml Buttermilk
  2. 1 Cooked Beetroot
  3. 5-6 cloves Garlic
  4. 1-2 Green Chillies or as per taste
  5. 1tsp Roasted Jeera Powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1/2 tsp Black Salt
  8. 1tsp Sugar optional
  9. Coriander for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Grind cooked beetroot, garlic, chilies and salt into a fine smooth paste.
  2. Add this paste into buttermilk and mix well.
  3. Sprinkle black salt and jeera powder.
  4. Garnish it with finely chopped coriander.
  5. Serve chilled.
