Ingredients to make Salad cones

  • Papad 4
  • Black chickpeas 1/2 cup
  • water 4 cups
  • onion ( chopped) 1/4 cup
  • tomato ( chopped) 1/4 cup
  • Green chilli ( chopped) 2 teaspoons
  • Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt ( to taste)
  • lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  • onion greens ( for garnishing)

How to make Salad cones

  1. Soak chickpeas in water for 6 hours.
  2. Boil them with 4 cups water and salt for 45 minutes.
  3. Take out boiled chickpeas in a bowl and add chopped onion , tomato and green chilli in it.
  4. Add salt, chaat masala and lemon juice to it.
  5. Heat a skillet.
  6. Cut papad in halves.
  7. Roast them.
  8. Quickly roll the papad half in the shape of cone.
  9. Do the same with all papads.
  10. Fill the cones with filling of black chickpeas.
  11. Garnish with onion greens.
  12. Serve!

My Tip:

Serve immediately else cones will turn soggy.
