  1. Ingredients for cake -
  2. All purpose flour/ maida 1 cup
  3. Hung curd 1/3 cup
  4. butter 1/3 cup
  5. sugar powder 1/3 cup
  6. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  9. Milk 2 to 3 tablespoons
  10. Ingredients for Dressing of cake -
  11. Fresh Rich curd 2 cups
  12. Vanilla flavoured custard powder 3 tablespoons
  13. sugar Powder 1/2 cup


  1. Sieve all dry ingredients like all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda 2 times. Take a mixing bowl, add hung curd and butter. Mix it properly till light and fluffy.
  2. Add sugar powder and mix again. Add sieved dry ingredients 2 tablespoons at a time and mix well. Do this process till dry ingredients ends.
  3. Now add vanilla essence and milk at a time. Mix well.
  4. Preheat microwave/OTG for 10 minutes on 180 degree. Grease a baking tin with oil and dust with all purpose flour.
  5. Pour cake mixture in it and tap properly that air bubbles remove. Keep cake tin in microwave and bake for 30 minutes on 170 degree.
  6. After 30 minutes take out baking tin and do knife test. (If knife comes out clean then cake is done otherwise bake it for 5 to 10 more minutes. Let the cake cool completely.)
  7. To prepare the cake dressing, add curd, custard powder and sugar powder, mix properly. Now keep this mixture in cotton cloth and hang for 30 minutes till water releases. When its done remove curd from cloth and keep in a mixing bowl.
  8. Keep one layer of cake in plate. Pour a layer of vanilla flavoured curd on this. Now again keep next cake layer on it and pour curd again. Do this process till cake layers ends. Let it set for some time in freezer.
  9. Now take piping bag and do dressing of your choice on cake.
