ABOUT Dahi Shorba RECIPE

This is a perfect soup for summer. I have adapted the recipe from Masterchef Sanjeev Kapoor and modified according to our taste buds.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Curd - 1 cup
  2. Carrot - 2 tablespoon, grated
  3. Beans - 3 to 4, finely chopped
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  6. Gram flour/Besan - 3 tablespoon
  7. Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
  8. Green Chilli - 1, finely chopped
  9. Ghee - 2 tablespoon
  10. Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  11. Water - 3 Cups
  12. Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon, chopped

Instructions

  1. Take curd in a bowl and add 3 cups of water. Whisk well.
  2. Now add salt, sugar, ginger paste, chopped green chilli into the mixture and mix well.
  3. Next add besan into the mixture and mix well to avoid any lump formation.
  4. Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds and wait to crackle.
  5. Now add grated carrot and chopped beans and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Next add the yogurt mixture into it and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes or until becomes thick.
  7. Adjust the seasoning and serve hot garnishing with chopped coriander leaves.
