Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Banana Kesaribath:
  2. 1/2 cup chiroti rava
  3. 1 cup water
  4. 1/4 cup ghee
  5. Few cashew
  6. 5 to 8 cloves
  7. 1/4 cup sugar
  8. 1/2 mashed banana
  9. For Rava Bisi Bele Bath:
  10. 1/2 cup medium rava
  11. 1 cup water
  12. Oil
  13. Mustard
  14. Chana dal
  15. Curry leaves
  16. 2 medium Onion
  17. 3 slit green chillies
  18. Vegetables (carrot, beans, capsicum) as required
  19. Salt
  20. 3 teaspoon Bisi bele bath powder
  21. Ghee
  22. Coriander leaves
  23. 1/2 Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. For Banana kesaribath:
  2. In a kadai, add 2 teaspoon ghee. Heat it and add cashew. Fry till golden brown, take it out and keep aside.
  3. In the same kadai, add little ghee, cloves, chiroti rava and roast it till the aroma of the rava comes out. Once done take it out to a plate.
  4. Now add water, sugar and bring it to boil. Once sugar dissolves completely, add banana and mix well. Add the roasted rava mixture and stir so that no lumps is formed.
  5. Add ghee and mix well. Cook it till done.
  6. For Rava Bisi Bele Bath:
  7. In a pan, add little ghee. Add medium rava and roast it till the aroma of the rava comes out. Remove it on to a plate and keep aside.
  8. Add oil, mustard, once it splutters, add channa dal, curry leaves and fry. Now add onions and green chilli and fry till onions turn soft.
  9. Add in vegetables and fry it till done.
  10. Add water, salt, bisi bele bath powder lemon juice. Bring it to boil. Check for seasoning.
  11. Add in roasted rava and mix. Close the pan with lid and cook till done. Add coriander leaves and top it with little ghee.
  12. Serve hot.
