Mushroom when combined with butter and creamy sauce, it makes a deadly combination..perfect dish for vegetarians..

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 packet button mushrooms
  2. 2 big onions
  3. 2 large tomatoes
  4. 10 to 15 blanched cashew nuts
  5. 2 tbs coconut
  6. 2 tbs of butter
  7. 2 bay leaves
  8. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  9. 1 inch piece of ginger
  10. 7 to 8 garlic cloves
  11. 2 to 4 cloves
  12. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  13. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  14. 1 tsp chilli powder
  15. 1tsp cumin seeds
  16. Pinch of hing
  17. 1 tsp coriander powder
  18. 2 to 3 tbs cream
  19. 2 tbs curd
  20. Coriander leaves to garnish
  21. Salt according to taste

Instructions

  1. Properly wash mushrooms and chop them
  2. Chop onions, tomatoes, ginger and garlic..Saute it in pressure cooker with some oil for 2 to 3 minutes
  3. Now this add blanched cashew nuts with cloves.
  4. Saute all these together for 2 to 3 minutes and cook till 3 whistles
  5. Whistle it
  6. After that release the pressure and cool the mixture, and blend it in blender
  7. Now add 2 tbs of butter into frying pan and add bay leaves and cinnamon stick and saute the mushrooms for a while and add the blended mixture into the pan. Boil till it leaves the sides and oil separates.
  8. To this add coconut powder along with curd and simmer it for 10 to 12 minutes.
  9. Serve it with cream, enjoy your delicious gravy with rice, roti, naan or paratha..
