ABOUT KESAR PISTA SHRIKHAND RECIPE

This is served along with puri and other items in the Gudi Padwa platter.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 500 grams low fat yogurt
  2. 100 grams powdered sugar or according to taste
  3. 1 tsp crushed saffron soaked in 1 tbsp milk
  4. Chopped pistachio
  5. Chopped Almonds
  6. Dried rose petals for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Strain Curd through a muslin cloth and remove all the excess water.
  2. It will take about two hours for water and curd to separate completely.
  3. Add powdered sugar, saffron extract and whisk everything well.
  4. Add pistachio, almonds and dried rose petals.
  5. Mix well and serve chilled
