Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Curd: 1 small Cup
  2. Ripe Mango: 1 big size
  3. Grated Coconut: 1/2 cup
  4. Cumin/Jeera: 1/4 tsp
  5. Mustard seeds: 1/2 tsp
  6. Curd : 1 cup
  7. Jaggery : a gooseberry size ball (grated)
  8. Dry red chillies: 2-3
  9. Coconut oil: 2 tbsp
  10. Curry leaves: 1 sprig
  11. Mango Slices: cut in long for garnishing
  12. Mint leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Cut the mango into medium cube pieces and cook it with salt.
  2. Meanwhile grind the coconut thoroughly with cumin, green chilli, shallots and ¼ tsp mustard seeds.
  3. Add this ground paste to the cooked mango and mix well. Cook for 3-4 mins.
  4. Add grated jaggery and mix again thoroughly.
  5. Remove from fire and mix curd in this mixture.
  6. Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  7. Pour the seasoning to the pachadi and garnish with slice mango and mint leaves
