Salad Chicken

Ingredients to make Salad Chicken

  • chicken: 500 gms.
  • cucumber (medium, sliced): 1 piece
  • carrot (medium, sliced): 1 piece
  • onion (Slice in ring) (big): 2 pieces
  • Green bell pepper (Slice in ring): 1 piece (big)
  • Green Chili (slice): 2-3 pieces
  • ginger (finely chopped): 1 tablespoon
  • garlic (finely chopped): 2 tablespoon
  • turmeric Powder: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder: 1 teaspoon
  • White vinegar: 1 1/2 teaspoon
  • Soybean sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • olive oil: 1 teaspoons (1/2 + 1/2)
  • sugar: 1/4 teaspoon
  • salt: to taste

How to make Salad Chicken

  1. Wash the chicken and marinate with salt, turmeric powder and vinegar for at least 30 min.
  2. Heat 1/2 teaspoon olive oil in a deep pan.
  3. Add the marinated chicken in oil and saute it. Keep the sauteed chicken aside.
  4. Add another 1/2 teaspoon oil in the same pan and heat.
  5. Add cucumber, carrot, onions and bell pepper in it and saute them. Keep them aside
  6. Add ginger, garlic in it and cook again for maximum 30 sec.
  7. Add the sauteed chicken and vegetables in it and mix well.
  8. Now, add black pepper, soybean sauce, sugar, salt and 1/4 cup water in it and mix well.
  9. Cover with a lid and let it cook in low flame.
  10. Put the flame off when the chicken is well cooked.
  11. Serve hot.

My Tip:

1. Never heat olive oil too much. 2. You may sprinkle black pepper powder on it before serve.
