ABOUT Waldorf Salad RECIPE

Not to miss this one in salads. Very fresh healthy apples with fresh mayo dressing, added fresh salad leaves to add color and zest. Dressed with healthy crunchy walnuts. Do it and you will love it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 250 grams apples
  2. A cup of walnuts pieces few big to garnish
  3. A bunch of lettuce
  4. Half a lemon
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1 tspn sugar
  7. 1 cup mayonnaise of your choice

Instructions

  1. Wash, clean and dice apple pieces keep aside
  2. Keep the mayonnaise and walnuts ready
  3. Now squeeze lemon, add salt, sugar and add to chopped apples, mix well
  4. Now add the mayonnaise, keeping some to add later to this and mix well
  5. Add the chopped lettuce to the apples mix
  6. Keep aside for 10 minutes
  7. Just before serving place lettuce leaves in a bowl and spoon the salad into the bowl
  8. Add more mayonnaise now and garnish with some big visible walnut pieces
  9. Serve cold or as is
