ABOUT Curd Rice RECIPE

Normally we mix curd to rice for making curd rice but to make it more healthy you can add salads

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Basmati rice 1 cup
  2. Sugar 1 tsp
  3. Water as needed
  4. Chopped green chillies 2 nos
  5. Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
  6. Grated ginger 1/2 inch
  7. Oil 1 tsp
  8. Black salt plus raita masala 1 tsp
  9. Salt per taste
  10. Thick curd 3 cups
  11. Curry leaves few
  12. Chopped coriander and mint leaves
  13. Fried peanuts 2 tbsp
  14. Chopped onion 1 no
  15. Chopped cucumber 1 cup
  16. Chopped tomato 1 no
  17. Fried cashews 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. First cook one cup rice with two cups of water then keep aside
  2. Now add curd, salt, sugar, chopped green chillies, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, fried peanuts, cashews, salt , chopped coriander and mint leaves and masalas and mix well
  3. Now final step warm oil add mustard seeds and let it crackle , now add grated ginger and curry leaves and fry for 2 mins, remove and add this seasoning to rice and mix well and serve
