Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer 200 grams
  2. Oil 2 tspn
  3. Cumin seeds 1 tspn
  4. Red dried chillies 2-3
  5. Onion (cut into strips) 1 medium
  6. Tomato (deseeded and cut into strips) 1 medium
  7. Green capsicum (cut into strips) 1/2 medium
  8. Red chilli powder 1 tspn
  9. Turmeric powder 1/4 tspn
  10. Green chillies chopped 2
  11. Ginger ( cut into Julienne) 1 inch
  12. Vinegar 1 tspn
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Tomato sauce 1/2 cup
  15. Water 1 cup
  16. Garam masala power 1/2 tspn
  17. Coriander sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and red chillies and saute until cumin turns brown
  2. Cut paneer into batons or thick strips
  3. Add tomato, onion and capsicum strips and saute them
  4. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger and green chillies and saute to mix them
  5. Add vinegar and toss again
  6. Add tomato sauce and cook for a minute
  7. Add paneer, salt and garam masala and toss and mix again
  8. Add a 1/2 cup water or little
  9. Finish the dish by adding chopped coriander.
  10. Serve hot
