ABOUT Millionare Chocolate Chip Cake RECIPE

This is our all time favorite cake my mom used to bake for us, Now I bake for my family & friends. It is an all time super hit. So rich, super soft & chocolaty. I bet you can't stop yourself from eating. This cake is always special to us, hence the name 'Millionaire Chocolate Chip Cake'.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 125 gms - All purpose flour (Maida)
  2. 3 tbsp - Cocoa powder ( unsweetened)
  3. 1/2 tsp - Baking soda
  4. 1 tsp - Baking powder
  5. 150 gms Milkmaid
  6. 60 gms - Butter (softened)
  7. 4 tbsp - powdered sugar (according to taste)
  8. 1 tsp - Vanilla extract
  9. 25 to 30 gms - Chocolate Chips (For Topping)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, sieve together All purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder. (Dry Ingredients)
  2. Take another bowl, cream together by hand whisk butter, powdered sugar till its fluffy and then add milkmaid, Vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. Now take the dry ingredients & mix well, start adding little milk to form a smooth batter. The batter should be of dropping consistency.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased & dusted tin 6" diameter round tin or a square tin also. Lastly, add Chocolate chips on top.
  5. Preheat the cooker on low flame for 5 minutes. Put the cake batter tin in cooker and close the lid without the whistle on it. Don't add water. Bake it on low flame for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Check by inserting a tooth-pick. If it is not cooked, keep it for some more time. Once done, take the tin out carefully, cool it and then transfer the cake on a wire rack.
  7. You can Drizzle Chocolate sauce and serve.
