ABOUT Curd Chutney/ Dahi Chutney RECIPE

Spicy chutney made of curd and other ingredient. Tastes best with thaleepeet (Maharashtrian cuisine)

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. curd 1 small cup
  2. coriander leaves handful
  3. Curry leaves 6-7
  4. garlic cloves 2
  5. peanuts 1 tablespoon
  6. Green chillies 2 (or as hot you like)
  7. water 1 tablespoon (optional .. depends upon how thick curd is)
  8. salt to taste


  1. Roast garlic cloves
  2. Take all ingredient in mixer grinder and grind to a smooth paste.
  3. If curd is very thick then while grinding add water to chutney otherwise water is not required .
  4. This chutney goes well with thaleepeeth/ parathe/ thepla.
