Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Gram flour/ besan 1 cup
  2. Curd 1 cup
  3. Malai 1 tsp
  4. Red chili powder 1 1/2 tsp
  5. Dhania powder 1 1/2 tsp
  6. Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. Haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Curry patta leaves 4-5
  10. Ghee 2 tsp
  11. Jeera 1/2 tsp
  12. 3 cups water
  13. 1/2 cup methi leaves finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl take gram flour/ besan
  2. Add malai
  3. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  4. 1/2 tsp dhania powder
  5. 1/4 tsp haldi powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Bind this into soft dough adding 2 tsp of water
  8. Divide them into equal parts
  9. Give them fingers shape
  10. Keep water for boiling
  11. Add these when water is boiled
  12. Boil for atleast 10 minutes on slow flame
  13. Cut them into small pieces
  14. In another small bowl take curd
  15. Add 1 tsp red chilli powder, dhania powder 1 tsp, haldi powder 1/4 tsp
  16. In one pan heat ghee on slow flame
  17. Add curry patta and jeera
  18. Add whisked curd to ghee
  19. Keep on stirring constantly
  20. Curd will leave ghee
  21. When it comes to boil add pieces of gatta
  22. Add finely chopped methi leaves
  23. Cover for five minutes
  24. Add salt according to gravy
  25. As in gatta we have added salt
  26. Switch off gas
  27. Open the cover and transfer in bowl
  28. Enjoy with chappati, dal batti or parathas
