Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chaana dal 250 gms
  2. Sugar 200 gms
  3. Desi ghee 200 gms
  4. Cashew nuts 100 gms
  5. Almonds 100 gms
  6. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Milk 1 cup

Instructions

  1. First soak chana daal for about 7-8 hours.
  2. Then mix it in the grinder to make a fine paste.
  3. Then add desi ghee in kadai, after its hot, add the paste and fry it.
  4. After the daal is fried, add sugar, followed by cashew nuts, almonds, cardamom powder and some amount of milk.
  5. Keep it on medium flame, till you get desired color.
  6. After getting desired color take halwa out in a bowl, garnish it with cashew nuts and almonds.
  7. Serve hot.
