Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 bowl chana dal
  2. 1/2 bowl moong dal
  3. 1/2 bowl toor dal
  4. Bottle guard 1 chopped
  5. Spinach 1/2 bunch
  6. Onion 1
  7. Tomato 2
  8. Curd 2 tbs
  9. Long pepper- 1/2 tsp
  10. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
  11. Kali mirch 1/2 tbs
  12. Asafotida pinch
  13. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
  14. Dhaniya powder- 1 tsp
  15. Mirchi powder- as per spiciness required
  16. Garam masala- 1 tsp
  17. Salt as per taste
  18. For tadka:
  19. Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
  20. Oil- 2 tsp
  21. Garlic- 4 pods
  22. Red whole chili- 1 no
  23. Asafoetida a pinch

Instructions

  1. Boil all dal and bottle guard together
  2. Then in pan add onion saute it
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, saute
  4. Then then add spinach and and saute until water of spinach becomes dry
  5. Then add tomato, saute it with bit of salt
  6. Add all masala and fry until get aroma
  7. Then add curd and again saute it
  8. Add long and black pepper crushed
  9. Then add the dal. Make it boil with all masala
  10. Then in tadka pan take oil add zeera, mirch, Asafoetida, ghee and add in dal and cover it
  11. Dal is ready this is very healthy and yummy
