Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Green chikpeas - 1 cup
  2. Coconut grated - 2 tbsp
  3. Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, chopped
  4. Lime Juice - 1 tsp
  5. Curry leaves - few leaves
  6. Chana dal split - 1 tsp
  7. Asafoetida/ hing - 1 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  10. Green chillies - 2, chopped
  11. Oil- 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cook the green chick peas in a pressure cooker, add enough water. Then drain the water
  2. In a pan add oil then add mustard seeds, allow to splutter, then add channa dal, add asafoetida
  3. Add curry leaves, chillies, mix well
  4. Add green chickpeas mix well
  5. Sprinkle salt, lime juice, coconut and coriander leaves and serve
