This is Karnataka , South Indian style sambar
Remove green outer part of pumpkin and chop white pumpkin. Cook in a pan, add 2 cups of water with a pinch of salt, cook until tender
In a pressure pan add toor dal and red chori, add 1 cup water and cook until 3 whistle. Turn off the gas
In a pumkin cooked pan, add dal and chori /sprout saute
Add rasam powder, curry leaves, salt , jaggery, tamarind saute again bring to boil on low flame
In a mixer add coconut and sambar powder and little water and make a smooth paste
Add paste into sambar, saute bring boil for few mins
In a pan add oil , then add mustard seeds and hing. Pour into sambar and serve with hot plain rice with ghee
