ABOUT Chana dal ki chutney RECIPE

It's an instant side condiment can be prepared without any previous preparation

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup Bengal gram
  2. 5-6 green chillies (can adjust according to taste)
  3. 6-7 garlic pods
  4. 1/2 inch ginger
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Vegetable oil for frying
  7. 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
  8. 1 dry red chill

Instructions

  1. First oil in a pan to fry the channa dal
  2. Fry the chana dal in two batches till golden brown
  3. Drain the oil
  4. Now in grind the fried dal with garlic, ginger, green chillies and salt. Add little water too.
  5. Now for tempering heat 1/2 teaspoon oil and put in the mustard seeds let it splutter. Add red chilli
  6. Add the tempering to the prepared chutney.
