Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice 1/2 kg
  2. Chicken drumsticks 1 kg
  3. Onion 1/2 kg
  4. Tomatoes 250 gms
  5. Curd 200 gms
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Cardamom green 4 pcs
  10. Cinnamon 3 inches 2 sticks
  11. Cloves 4 pcs
  12. Bay leaf 1
  13. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  14. Black peppercorns 5 pcs
  15. Star anise 2 pcs
  16. Ginger garlic paste 2 table spoon
  17. Fresh green chopped coriander 1 cup
  18. Oil 1 tablespoon
  19. Ghee 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in curd, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chilli powder and salt only half of what is your taste.
  2. Heat oil in a wok fry thin cut onion till dark brown
  3. To make rice add 700 ml water to 500 gms rice, add all the whole Spices, ghee and salt .. cook them 90%
  4. Remove onion from the wok separate the oil now in a big wide vessel, add onion, oil 1 tablespoon, ghee add marinated chicken .. cover it with a lid.. on medium flame .. cook until it leave oil and is soft..
  5. In a wide big plate or wok mix rice coriander, fried onion and cooked chicken... Serve hot
