Rose sherbet

Ingredients to make Rose sherbet

  • rose petals 350 gms
  • sugar 750 gms
  • Citric acid 1 tsp
  • Edible red color only a few drops
  • rose essence 4 to 5 drops

How to make Rose sherbet

  1. Clean the rose petals and put them in a glass bottle filled half with water and keep it overnight.
  2. Put 2 tbsp sugar also in the above bottle.
  3. Put all in a heavy bottom pan or cooker and cook for around 20 minutes.
  4. Cool this, crush and sieve it.
  5. Now make sugar syrup with 1 bottle of water and add rest of the sugar by cooking it for 10 minutes.
  6. Sieve this sugar syrup and cool it. Add color, essence and citric acid.
  7. Mix all in a lovely jar or a bottle and add the rose petals syrup and refrigerate. Serve cold wherever u feel the urge to drink.

My Tip:

It's a coolant and very good for the heart.
