Ingredients to make Rajma kabab

  • Soaked kidney beans 2 cup
  • Finely chopped onion 2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped green chili 2 tsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp or to taste
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • gram flour 1 tbsp or as required
  • salt to taste
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • clove powder 1 pinch
  • cinnamon powder 1 pinch
  • lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Deshi ghee 1 tbsp
  • oil for frying

How to make Rajma kabab

  1. Mash the rajma with palm or in grinder, put in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan saute ginger, onion, green chili, add salt, cumin powder, red chili powder, clove and cinnamon powder give it to a nice stir.
  3. Cook with stirring add gram flour and keep the mixture in bowl. Add lemon juice, mix well the mixture till smooth and make the kebabs
  4. Heat the oil in a pan and shallow fry the kebabs till golden, serve hot with green chutney.

My Tip:

You can also add bread crumbs.
