ABOUT Tangy Sweet Corn RECIPE

My husband and I were coming back from Lonavala and decided to stop by at a roadside stall to satisfy our hunger pangs. My husband just loved the boiled corn the old vendor had made and asked me to make the same for breakfast. So I tried to remember the taste and came up with this recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 and 1/2 cups sweet corn
  2. 2 tablespoons butter
  3. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  4. 1/2 teaspoon oregano seasoning
  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  6. 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. In a vessel heat 1 tablespoon butter and add corn, chilli flakes, oregano seasoning and salt.
  2. Add about 1 cup water. Cover and cook till corn is boiled and tender.
  3. Squeeze lemon as per taste. Top with remaining butter and serve hot.
