Ingredients to make Matha{Butter Milk}

  • curd 1 cup
  • water 2-3 cups
  • asafoetida 1 pinch
  • rock salt to taste
  • jeera methi powder 1 tsp
  • oil 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves/methi neem 2-3
  • mustard seeds 1 tsp

How to make Matha{Butter Milk}

  1. Make buttermilk by using blender or mixer.
  2. Add salt and jeera methi powder.
  3. For tempering, add oil.When mustard seeds crackle adds methi neem and asafoetida.Add it to buttermilk.
