ABOUT Roselle Juice RECIPE

Roselle is the edible calyx of the hibiscus flower. Roselle drink is very healthy, can be had as a Hibiscus tea when taken hot and is a perfect thirst quencher drink when taken chilled. The health benefits of hibiscus drink include relief from high blood pressure and high cholesterol, as well as digestive, immune system, and inflammatory problems.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 10-12 Roselle calyx
  2. 6 cups of water
  3. 1/4 cup of Sugar (adjust as per taste)


  1. Remove the seeds from the calyx using a knife.
  2. Wash the calyx to remove dirt if any. In a large sauce pan heat up water on a medium heat and add sugar to it.
  3. To this add the Roselle calyx and boil for about 8-10 minutes .
  4. Strain it and discard the calyx. Serve the Roselle juice hot or chilled and enjoy !!
