Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 300 gram bottle gourd (giya)
  2. 1litre full-fat milk
  3. Sugar as per taste
  4. 3table spoon milk powder
  5. 1/2 table spoon green cardamom powder
  6. Saffron
  7. Chopped dryfruits (almonds cashewnut pistachios)
  8. Mint leaves to garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel bottle gourd, wash and then grate it.
  2. Heat butter/ghee in a heavy bottom pan, add grated bottle gourd roast it till it becomes dry.
  3. Then add milk and stir well.
  4. Add milk powder and mix well.
  5. Add cardamom powder,saffron, sugar, mix well and cook for 30 minutes.Swtich off.
  6. After it reaches room temperature blend it.
  7. Keep it in refrigerator to chill.
  8. After chilling take a glass pour shake mango pieces some dry fruits and last garnish with mint leaves.
