Gluten Free Pizza with Lentil Crust

Ingredients to make Gluten Free Pizza with Lentil Crust

  • Split green gram- 1/4 cup
  • Split black gram- 1/4 cup
  • Split red lentil- 1/4 cup
  • salt- 1 tsp
  • Chopped onions- 1/2 cup
  • Chopped capsicum- 1/2 cup
  • Pitted black olives- 6
  • Pizza sauce- 2 tbsp
  • Grated Mozzarella cheese- 1/2 cup
  • Mixed herbs- 1 tbsp

How to make Gluten Free Pizza with Lentil Crust

  1. Wash all the lentils and soak them in lukewarm water for 2 hours.
  2. After 2 hours, drain the water and grind the soaked lentils to make a puree. Don't add water to it. Puree should be of thick consistency.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan. Pour 2 ladles of batter on it and spread it into a circular disc with 1/4 inch in thickness.
  4. Cook it from both the sides until golden brown. Our pizza base is ready.
  5. Similarly, you can have 4 pizza base from this batter.
  6. Place the cooked pizza base on a baking tray.
  7. Spread pizza sauce, arrange vegetables and sprinkle grated cheese over it.
  8. Meanwhile, preheat your oven at 200 degree Celsius for 10 minutes.
  9. Bake this pizza in a preheated oven at 200 degree Celsius for 10 minutes.
  10. Your healthy, gluten free pizza with lentils is ready to serve. Sprinkle mixed herbs and enjoy it.

My Tip:

Rather than using single lentil for this pizza, I preferred to use mixed lentils to enhance the taste.
