ABOUT Apple & Tomato Salad using Chickpeas Dressing RECIPE

Healthy and refreshing salad using chickpeas dressing.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 Apples, cut into small pieces
  2. 6 Cherry Tomatoes, cut into halves
  3. Few fresh basil leaves
  4. For dressing :
  5. 2 Tbsp Black chickpeas ( soaked and cooked )
  6. 3 - 4 Basil leaves
  7. 1/4 cup Olive oil
  8. 1 tsp Lemon juice
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Little Pepper powder ( Optional )

Instructions

  1. Take cooked chickpeas along with basil leaves, olive oil, lemon juice and salt in a blender.
  2. Blend till it turns smooth.
  3. Once done, remove from the blender and keep aside.
  4. Take apples and cherry tomatoes in a large bowl.
  5. Add fresh basil leaves and chickpeas dressing to it.
  6. Mix well and sprinkle little pepper powder.
  7. Serve.
