ABOUT Piyush RECIPE

Piyush is a creamy rich and cool drink ideal for summer and during fasting. This is a traditional Maharashtrian recipie where curd and shrikhand are blended with saffron and cardamom.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Shrikhand 125gm or half cup
  2. Curd 1 cup
  3. Milk 1/2 cup
  4. Sugar 4 teaspoon
  5. Nutmeg powder 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon
  7. Saffron 3-4 strands
  8. Mixed dry fruits chopped for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take curd in a bowl.
  2. Add cardamom, nutmeg powder, sugar and saffron strands to it and mix well.
  3. Add shrikhand and milk.
  4. Blend all ingredients smooth with a blender.
  5. While serving garnish with chopped dry fruits and saffron. Serve chilled.
