A very quick to make receipe under 15 minutes. Speciallly love to make in winters when vegetables are in abundance with tadka of fresh green garlic, its yummy to pair with Jowar/Bajari ki Roti.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Carrot 1 peeled & chopped in thick roundels
  2. Fresh methi leaves handful
  3. Potato 1 big chopped into cubes
  4. 2 big red tomatoes grated
  5. Haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Dhaniya powder 1 tsp
  7. lalmirch powder 1 tsp
  8. fresh green garlic 4 chopped
  9. Green chillies 1
  10. salt to taste
  11. oil 1 spoon

Instructions

  1. In a cooker put little oil. Add chopped fresh lasun/green garlic. Saute. Put 2 grated tomatoes. Put chopped hari mirchi. Add namak, lal mirchpowder, haldi and dhania powder. Saute till oil separates.
  2. Put carrots, chopped alu, methi leaves. Saute. To make gravy add required amount of water. Close the lid of cooker.
  3. Cook upto 2 whistles, then simmer it on low flame for a few minutes.
  4. Serve hot with Bajri/jowari roti or rice.
