A spicy prawn curry that has a mix of flavours and is very delicious.

Ingredients to make Thai red curry prawn

  • 450 grams prawns
  • 2 tablespoon- thai red curry paste
  • 1 green chilli sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 227 ml coconut milk
  • 1/2 lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Handful of coriander leaves finely chopped to garnish

How to make Thai red curry prawn

  1. Heat a pan on medium flame, pour in the oil. Once the oil is hot, put in the green chilli and stir.
  2. Next, instantly add the red curry paste, stir and cook for another minute.
  3. Then pour in the fish sauce and coconut together, make sure to mix well so that the flavours combine together.
  4. Now, put in the prawns and let it simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Note that the once the prawns turn pink in colour, they are cooked. Pour in the lemon juice and adjust the taste accordingly.
  6. Serve hot with a garnish of coriander leaves alongside rice.
