ABOUT Trick or Treat Goblins RECIPE

Halloween is round the corner and these can really steal the show, one goblin for one child.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. sweet potato 200 gms diced boiled and mashed
  2. garlic 2 pods
  3. Dried dill leaves 1 tsp
  4. butter 10 gms
  5. Cheese 14 gms
  6. Sea salt 1/2 tsp
  7. pepper 1/4 tsp
  8. onion powder 1/4 tsp
  9. Kiwi fruit 1 piece cut in round slices
  10. cream cheese 1 tsp
  11. mustard sauce 1 tbsp
  12. honey 1/4 tsp
  13. White wine vinegar 1 tsp
  14. tomato 1 small
  15. white onions small 5-6 cut finely and marinated in vinegar
  16. Corriander leaves minced finely 1 tbsp
  17. 3 spring roll sheets 7*7 cut in 12 squares
  18. olive oil to line the baking tray
  19. Black olives and goji berries for decoration

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook sweet potato with little water, on high flame, till one whistle, lower flame and wait till other whistle. This takes approx 10 minutes
  2. After it cools, mash the sweet potatoes. Add salt, pepper, garlic, dill leaves, white vinegar, onion powder. Mix well and keep aside.
  3. Grease a muffin Tray. Line it with two square sheets each. Bake at 170° for 5 minutes till light brown.
  4. Fill each muffin mould with sweet potato mixture. Grate cheese over each and sprinkle with dill leaves. Bake for 5 minutes at 180° and 2 minutes at 200°C till golden brown.
  5. Remove and decorate with black olives, Goji berries, tomato and green onion shoots.
  6. Cream together cream cheese, mustard sauce, honey. Add finely cut white onion, tomato, coriander and mix well.
  7. Serve with Kiwi.
