Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. Arhar dal - 1 Cup
  2. Chana Dal - 1 Cup
  3. Green Chili Paste - 1 tbsp
  4. Spinach Paste - 1/2 Cup
  5. Mix Vegetables - 1/2 Cup
  6. Lemon - 1/2 squeezed to juice
  7. Jeera Powder -1/4 tsp
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Oil - 1 tbsp
  10. Low Fat Cottage Cheese - 1/4 Cup

Instructions

  1. Soak the chana and Arhar dal in water for a few hours. Strain the water and coarsely grind the pulses.
  2. Mix the other ingredients and then make small muthiyas from the ready mixture. Steam cook these muthiyas in a steamer.
  3. Once the steamed muthiyas cool down tip them in hot oil and deep fry on medium-high heat till the color changes to golden brown.
  4. Take them out on absorbent paper and then serve hot with the sauce/chutney of your choice.
