Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Carrots - 2 large, chopped
  2. Hing - A Pinch
  3. Whole Red Chili - 2
  4. Dhuli Urad Dal - 1 1/2 tsp
  5. Turmeric Powder - 1/4tsp
  6. Mustard Seeds - 1/2tsp
  7. Cumin Seeds - 1/4tsp
  8. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
  9. Curry Leaves - 2 sprigs
  10. Grated Coconut - 3 tsp
  11. Salt - To taste
  12. Oil - 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan, add oil , mustard and cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add urad dal, Hing, red chilies and saute till dal turns light brown.
  3. Add curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and carrots.
  4. Cook on slow flame until carrots are soft.
  5. Add turmeric powder, salt and coconut. Mix them well and switch off the flame.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
