ABOUT Garlic Flavored Besan Nachos RECIPE

Healthy flour less nachos made with chickpea and green gram flour, seasoned with butter and garlic.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Besan - 1 cup
  2. Moong Dal Flour - 1/2 cup
  3. Salt - a pinch
  4. Turmeric Powder - a pinch
  5. Chili Powder - 1/4 tsp
  6. Garlic Pods - 4
  7. Butter - 2 tbsp
  8. Mixed Herbs - 1 tsp
  9. Water as required
  10. Oil - 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix besan, green gram flour, salt and chili powder. Add 1 tsp oil and water as required to knead a stiff dough. Add a teaspoon of oil and kneed again. Cover with a moist cloth for 15 minutes.
  2. Make medium sized balls from the dough. Spread a piece of butter paper sprinkled with dry flour. keep a ball of dough and cover with another piece of butter paper. roll with the help of rolling pin. Make a circular roti and cut that into triangles.
  3. Heat a non stick tawa and roast the triangles until Brown spots appear on both sides. Remove on a serving plate.
  4. In a microwave safe bowl add butter, crushed garlic, and herb mix. Microwave for 1 minutes on high. Pour this mixture over the roasted nachos
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Spread all the nachos on a microwave safe dish. Bake them in the oven for 15 mins or until crisp. Serve hot with mayonnaise.
