Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chana Dal - 11/2cup
  2. Wheat flour - 3 cup
  3. Rice flour - 3 cup
  4. garlic - 1tsp, grated
  5. coriander powder - 1tsp
  6. Red chili powder - 1tsp
  7. Hing- A pinch
  8. Dry mango powder - 1tsp
  9. Garam masala - 1/2tsp
  10. Green chili - 1
  11. salt -To taste
  12. oil - For frying

Instructions

  1. Soak Chana dal for 5hours. Drain the water from dal and add all the spices and salt and grind to a smooth paste.
  2. Mix wheat and rice flour, add pinch salt and knead it with water. Take some dough and make a ball, roll this ball with a rolling pin to make chapati and place the stuffing on one side and close it end to end to form semi circular shape (like gujiya or momo). Repeat for rest of the dough.
  3. Boil them in water by adding pinch salt and 1tsp oil for 2 minutes. Now drain water and let it cool.
  4. Take oil in a kadhai and fry all the pieces. Repeat the same process for rest of the stuffed pharas.
  5. Serve with chutney.
