ABOUT Healthy Potli Samosa RECIPE

Black eyed beans and whole green moong give it a unique taste.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For Covering - All purpose flour - 1 cup
  2. Salt - as per taste
  3. Oil - 2 tbsp
  4. Water - As needed
  5. For filling - Boil one eye beans - 1/2cup
  6. 1/2cup - Green moong (boiled)
  7. Amchur Powder - As required
  8. Salt - As required
  9. Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
  10. Chat masala - To taste
  11. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Mix all purpose flour, salt, oil to make a tight dough with water.
  2. Filling : Take a bowl add boiled black eyed beans, moong and all the dry ingredients.
  3. Mash and mix to make the filling mixture.
  4. Take a ball of dough, make little poori and add a little filling in the center. Fold it in the shape of a potli.
  5. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  6. Serve with tomato sauce.
