ABOUT Macaroni Carbonara. RECIPE

Every time we eat carbonara with Spaghetti. So today I tried carbonara with small cut macaroni pasta. As this cook fast and i add Carbonara Sauce ( ready-made) in it, the dish was ready in 10 minutes.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 100 % Italian durum wheat macaroni - 2 1/2 cups
  2. Onions chopped - 2
  3. Carrot chopped - 1 big
  4. Oil - 1 tsp
  5. Unsalted butter - 2tsp + 2 tsp
  6. Garlic crushed - 1 tsp
  7. Ginger grated - 1 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  10. Fresh parsley chopped fine - 2 tsp
  11. Carbonara Sauce - 4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Keep macaroni to boil in enough water with 1 tsp oil and salt. Till that chop onions and carrot fine. Heat 2 tsp in a pan, add onions, add ginger and garlic, saute for a minute and add chopped carrots. Add salt and pepper.
  2. Check pasta, if ready strain and keep under cold running water.
  3. Now add pasta to the pan, add 3 tbsp carbonara sauce. Mix and allow macaroni to cook with pasta sauce for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add 2 tsp butter and turn off the gas. Your carbonara macaroni is ready.
  5. Serve with garnish of Parsley and Pomegranate seeds.
  6. You also can add boiled egg as garnish.
